Local Attractions

Manyana is in an area renowned for it’s surfing, fishing and swimming locations, and its plentiful natural beauty. Close to Lake Conjola, Berringer Lake and Sussex Inlet, and the historic towns of Milton, Berry and Ulladulla.

The beaches here are what it’s all about. From the gentle waves of Washerwoman’s Beach, or the protected north-facing Stingray Bay to the unpatrolled surf breaks at Manyana, Inyadda and Bendalong, there’s  something for everyone.

There are accessible boat ramps in Bendalong and Cunjurong Point.

There are two golf courses at nearby Mollymook Golf Club. The Championship Hilltop course is 18 holes of bushland beauty, situated so that you can still hear the waves rolling in on the pristine Mollymook Beach. Hilltop is affectionately known as “The Ultimate Challenge” and was rated the No. 97 golf course in the March 2008 edition of The Australian Golf Digest.

There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in Milton, Mollymook and Ulladulla, as well as a few other dining options scattered around the area. We’ve compiled a directory of restaurants to point you in the right direction.

The local surf school is run by former world champion surfer Pam Burridge. More information is available on her website.

The Ocean & Earth factory outlet store in Sussex Inlet is only 25 mins drive away.

Take a walk along Monument Beach to the memorial commemorating those who died when the Walter Hood was shipwrecked just off the beach in 1870. More information about this historic site is available on the website of the Office of Environment & Heritage.
